Holocron is a private server for the classic 2003 sandbox MMO, running on the open-source SWGEmu engine. It's the game you remember, plus a frontier that keeps working while you're away.
What's different here
Everything you'd expect from a pre-Combat-Upgrade galaxy, and a few things you wouldn't.
Droid crews
Hire a crew of mining, moisture or chemical droids, set them down on rich ground, and they work while you're logged off. Raiders come for them. Your guild hears about it.
Hired guns
Mercenaries with names, pasts and traits. Post them as guards on your crews or keep one at your back. They earn experience, rank up, and expect to be paid.
A new profession
The Fixer runs people: contracts, command, scouting and logistics. Send scouts out to find the best ground and deploy your crews for you.
Locals who talk back
A few of the galaxy's regulars hold real conversations, and they remember who you are.
Guilds from day one
A public guild registrar, so you don't need a hall to start a guild. Guild chat, and raid alerts when someone's crew is under attack.
Windows or Mac
Our launcher checks your install, applies the server's settings and starts the game. On a Mac it runs the game for you, no setup needed.

We keep it small on purpose. Friends, and friends of friends.

- Bring your gameYou need your own copy of the original game, installed with the SWGEmu Launchpad. The launcher does the rest.
House rules
- Free, always. No store, no paid perks, no pay-to-win. Nobody can buy an edge here.
- Your own copy. We never host or hand out game files. You bring the game; we bring the galaxy.
- Be decent. It's a small community. Help the new folks and keep the drama out of general chat.
- Play fair. No bots, hacks or exploits. Found a bug? Tell us and we'll fix it.
